What does the session fee include?

The session fee serves as the creative fee (and the deposit) for your session and includes a two hour photo shoot and immediate family only (includes parents, children and/or pets).  We can not combine sessions with other families.  For additional extended family member(s) add $25 per person.  It covers artistic time, talent, and is separate from (not applied to) any products or packages purchased.

Do you offer specials?

I do offer special promotions several times a year, so become a friend on Facebook or follow me on Twitter to stay up to date with these discounted rates!  I also have a referral program that will give you a $50 gift certificate for every client referred (that books a session), so please contact me for more details!

Do you have a minimum purchase requirement?

We do have a minimum package requirement.  Please contact us for pricing info.

How long does it take to get my order?

After a portrait session, your proofs are typically ready to view in an online password protected gallery within 3 days.  The online gallery is available for two weeks and it is during that time that you will place your order.  After the order has been placed, it is usually takes 3-6 weeks until everything is ready for pick-up (or shipped if that’s what you prefer).

Do you do weddings?

Not currently at this time.  I do however, offer engagement and bridal sessions if that’s something that interests you!  I will definitely make a BIG announcement if I start offering weddings in the future!

When is the best time to have a maternity pictures done?

I like to do maternity sessions late in the 3rd trimester.

When should I schedule a newborn session?

After your little one arrives, please contact me as soon as possible so we set set a date!  I usually try to to do newborn session within one to two weeks after birth to ensure the most cooperation for all those adorable sleepy poses.

Do you offer multi-session packages?

Yes!  I offer a “Newborn” and “First Year” packages, so please contact me for a pricing and additional information if you are interested!

Do you do special event photography?

I currently do not offer special event photography at this time (i.e. birthday parties, family reunions, etc.).

Do you offer photography classes or workshops?

Not currently, but I’m considering adding a “Photography 101″ workshop in the future.

Where are sessions held?

I LOVE doing sessions outdoors when at all possible and as long as the weather allows.  It provides and more relaxed, fun atmosphere and also some beautiful scenery as well!  I have several favorite spots that I use on a regular basis, but I’m always open to new ideas as well if you have something specific in mind!  Some other location options include my studio  (which is great for boudoir and newborn sessions) or I can always come to your home at no extra charge if that’s more convenient or makes the session more comfortable.  Once your session is booked, we can determine the location that will be best for you!

What should I wear for my session?

After you book a session, I will send you a welcome kit, which includes a great guide for clothing recommendations.   Feel free bring to bring several clothing options with you so I can help narrow down the best outfit choices for your shoot! 

Do you offer digital packages?  Will I have full ownership of those images?

I do offer digital packages!  These are high resolution, fully edited images on CD that are yours to keep forever!  This is a great option for clients who want unlimited printing rights, use their computer for digital slideshows and viewing, and  easily share images with family and friends.  I provide a copyright release for all digital packages purchased and simple printing instructions with all my image CD’s.

{Photographer’s Note about digital images:} Although digital negatives are a very convenient, I highly recommend you going through me to print images larger than 8×10.  I use a professional printing service that caters to professional photographers and produces the highest quality photographic products available that you just can’t get from consumer labs.

Can I post my images on facebook?

ONLY if you have purchased digital packages and have been given a copyright release.  All images posted online MUST still credit Pink Label Photography for the images.

What kind of custom products do you offer?

I offer all kinds of custom boutique items, including cards, calendars and many other products for any occasion (holidays, birth announcements etc.)!  You have final approval on the design of any custom products before anything is ordered or printed.
