When you invest in a session with us, you’re going to get a custom experience from start to finish that suits you and your family’s style, not the other way around.  Your experience is going to be fun and relaxed with the goal of capturing true personalities in natural unplanned moments.  We do not believe in stiff, posed portraits, instead we want you to enjoy your session to create lasting memories (and images) that you will treasure for years to come!

Investment

Custom Photography is an investment, no doubt about it, but as the old saying goes, “You get what you pay for.”  So you need to decide what your expectations are for your upcoming shoot.  Are you looking for an in-studio traditional white/black background posed family portrait?  Or are you looking for something unique and out of the box your family can enjoy forever?  Our clients should generally anticipate spending anywhere from $500 to $1500 for the session fee and digital package. Session Tips

Upon booking, we will consult with you to discuss what you envision for your custom session and make sure we select the location that is best suited for you.  You’ll also be given a “Session Tips” packet loaded with information on how to prepare, clothing recommendations, etc.  From there, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call!  We are here to help you in any way we can to make sure this is an experience you’ll never forget!

Austin Sessions

Country– From the rolling hills to the valleys and everything in-between, Austin is the perfect setting for outdoor photography.  An open field with tall flowing grass, bubbling creeks, a weathered barn all make great locations and we have several go-to spots to choose from.

Urban – For those of you who are looking for something a little more hip and edgy, then Downtown Austin is the place for you! With all of its rich textures and colors, the urban environment is going to lend a very unique feel to your session.

Home Sweet Home – This option is ideal for newborn shoots, but also for the family that truly wants to show off their style and personality with a more intimate and personal session.  This is going to be the truest reflection of you and your family.

Casa de Pink – In studio shoots are typically reserved for newborn, maternity and boudoir sessions.  However, we will accommodate other types of sessions as well if you are looking for a more formal type shoot or are interested in some artistic black and white options.  Even in studio, our goal is to keep the candid, artistic feeling to our work.

New York Sessions

All New York sessions are done on location only.

Location options dependent on client’s location and overall vision for the shoot.   Availability similar to what is noted above, excluding the in-studio option.

The Day of Your Shoot:

Once everyone arrives at set location for your session, we will go over your portrait agreement to make sure everything is in order before we begin shooting.  This is also the perfect time to help you narrow down optimal clothing choices for the shoot if you need a little guidance.  You’re welcome to bring along several options if you’re having a hard time making a decision.

After the session is over, you will have the option of browsing through some of our sample products so you can start to envision what will work best in your home!  There is no pressure to place an order at this time, you won’t need to make any decisions until after you have seen your proofs.

Post Session Info:

Your proofs will be presented in a password protected online gallery approximately 3-5 days after your session.  It will be available for one full calendar week and it is during this time that your will make your order selections.  For any print orders, you will receive a separate gallery of all edited images that will need to be approved before the order is submitted for processing.  The entire process will take 4-8 weeks from the time you place your order to the time everything is complete and ready for pick-up or shipping (timeframe dependent on products ordered and design work involved).
